ohanablue: On Feb 29th (Leap Year) 2008 which was a Friday OhanaBlue became my significant other to call her my girl, girlfriend, boo, or bau is to belittle the importance she has play in my life for the past 54 months and counting. The trip to Disney was (lack of a better word) MAGICAL!!! Its like Walt Disney came back from the grave and spoke to the board and told them how important this day was for us, and we nearly missed it if Key West had better hotel rates. Regardless of when we make the decision to exchange vows Leap Day will hold a special place in our Life and I Thank God I have been with Ohanablue and I look forward to celebrating the next 15 Leap Days with her

I met a girl in passing about a year ago. I was at work fixing the panty table. She walked in and I Sensed her energy was positive. We both smiled. As she left she said… “nice tree pose” … I hadn’t even noticed I was doing it. I laughed and said thank you.

Well Ohana brings up a valid point, with in today society how do we meet new people? I find it funny how with the advancement with social networking such as my space, Facebook, Twitter and Match the world has gotten smaller but people are further apart and less connected then we were prior to Social Networking, and the purpose of these “sites” was for us to connect people could have 400 friends but how many of us know our Networking Friends? We want to look for people that share the same interest as us.
For me its sports and Poetry (I know that is a weird combination) if I find a person that has those interest, then our foundation is strong. I don’t have a large amount of face book friends I was late to the Social Networking scene, actually I don’t have many friends and I have not made new friends in years, but the friends I have made throughout the years are irreplaceable.
The steps to making new friends starts with purpose if a person change their environment it will force the individual to conform to new surroundings also known as ADAPTING.
If u want to make a new friend work on a Hobby that you love and then the foundation of a promising relationship is on solid ground
